More than 100 years after Europe first fell under the spell of Diaghilev’s Ballets Russes, the magic is recaptured by Les Saison Russes’ appearances in France. This time, Diaghilev’s mission has been taken up by the world famous dancer and People’s Artist of Russia Andris Liepa. The programme includes pas de deux from the ballets Scheherazade, The Firebird, the Polovtsian Dances from Prince Igor, and Le Spectre de la Rose.
